  A great product for the price! It does a lot of the same things that professional scanners do. I didn't have any problems learning how to use it, however I am a tech so I have experience using scanners. It's pretty basic in terms of usage. There's instructions giving you options as you go along, kind of like "yes or no" type stuff. In other words, if you're not a tech, you can still use it no problem as long as you know what you're looking at. You can even download new information for it as well. It has a slot for an SD card, and it comes with everything you need to hook it up to a computer.
  Keep in mind, this isn't a $3000 scanner, so it does have it's limitations. But it shows PIDs and does self diagnostics in addition to showing codes. In my opinion, it's well worth the investment.
